As a significant outcome of its efforts towards quality assurance in higher education, Yalova University has been granted accreditation for a period of two years under the Institutional Accreditation Programme conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council.
Within the framework of the Institutional Accreditation Programme, the evaluation process comprehensively examines universities' education and training, research and development, social contribution, and governance processes. As a result of these evaluations, Yalova University's quality assurance system and continuous improvement approach have been positively assessed.
The institutional accreditation obtained is considered an important indicator that Yalova University has made a culture of quality in higher education one of the fundamental elements of its institutional structure.
Rector Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı emphasised that the institutional accreditation process is not only a result but also an important starting point in terms of sustainable development. In this context, he stated that Yalova University will resolutely continue its efforts to further strengthen its quality assurance system and advance the concept of quality education in higher education.
