The signing ceremony of the Affiliation Protocol between Yalova State Hospital and Yalova University Faculty of Medicine was held with the participation of Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu.
Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Yalova MP Ahmet Büyükgümüş, AK Party Yalova MP Meliha Akyol, AK Party Provincial Chairman Umut Güçlü were also present at the protocol ceremony signed by the General Director of Public Hospitals Dr. Emrah Ceviz and Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı.
“It will be the Center of Education and Research”
Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony, Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu said, “With this protocol, our hospital in Yalova will become a center of education and research. Our university students will be trained in this hospital, our interns will provide services here and they will also have the opportunity to improve themselves in the field of health.”

Speaking about the protocol prepared to determine the procedures and principles regarding the joint use of Yalova State Hospital with the relevant units of Yalova University in order to carry out education, research and application services at Yalova State Hospital and to provide the health services needed in the region in a more effective, quality, efficient and accessible manner, Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı thanked all stakeholders who contributed to the affiliation process and pointed out that a new era has begun in Yalova.
