As part of the opening event of the Yalova University Centre for Applied Research on the Turkic World (YUTÜDAM), Prof. Dr. Ahmet Taşağıl's lecture entitled ‘Turks from Turkistan to Anatolia’ was held to great interest.
The programme commenced with an opening address by Dr. Lecturer Cihan Yalvar, during which the exhibition entitled ‘Turkish Traces in Stone’ showcased the profound heritage of Turkish history to the esteemed attendees.
Following this, the conference titled ‘Turks from Turkistan to Anatolia,’ which shed light on the deep-rooted heritage of Turkish history, was delivered by Prof. Ahmet Taşağıl to great interest.
At the end of the programme, our Rector Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Dr. Lecturer Cihan Yalvar and Dr. Lecturer Kubilay Çakıcı Bahadır presented Prof. Ahmet Taşağıl with a plaque of appreciation.
The day concluded with Bahadır Uslu's Turkish Throat Music and Dombra Recital, accompanied by the melodies of our culture.
