On January 23, 2024, the Turkish National Agency organized the "2024 Erasmus+ Central Projects Information Day Meeting" in Ankara, with the participation of 160 attendees. The event was conducted as part of the Central Projects of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), aiming to involve Turkish higher education institutions in Erasmus+ Central Projects, enhance innovation capacity in Turkish higher education, and enable universities to be pioneers in areas such as technology transfer, R&D, and entrepreneurship through university-industry collaboration on a global scale.
Representing Yalova University at the meeting, Dr. İshak TURAN, Coordinator of Scientific Research Projects, participated in discussions along with representatives from universities and other institutions.
During the meeting, experts delivered presentations on various topics related to Erasmus+ Central Projects, including "Erasmus+ Central Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)," "Erasmus+ Central Alliances for Innovation (AFI)," and "Capacity Building in the Field of Vocational Education in Erasmus+ Central Projects." Additionally, institutions such as TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), Ege University, Özyeğin University, and Eskişehir Technical University presented their ongoing projects.
