The celebrations for Republic Day on 29 October commenced with the laying of a wreath by our Governor, Hülya Kaya, at the 15 July Democracy and Republic Square. Our Vice-Rector, Prof. Cahit Külekçi, attended the ceremony.
We celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic with pride and enthusiasm, and we remember all our heroes, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect and gratitude.
