Students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Yalova University, who also compete for Termal Belediyespor, have brought pride to our university and our country with their outstanding achievements in the wrestling event at the FISU World University Combat Sports Championships held in Brazil.
At the Championships:
🥇 Şevval Çayır became World Champion in the 53 kg category,
🥇 Ayşe Erkan became World Champion in the 68 kg category,
🥈 Zerda Demir finished as World Runner-up in the 50 kg category.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our students on this significant achievement, securing a total of 2 gold and 1 silver medals; we also commend their coaches and the entire support team for their contributions to this success.
As the Faculty of Sports Sciences, we hope that these valuable achievements by our students on the international stage will continue to grow.
