First Quality Commission Meeting of Yalova University for 2025 was held on 30 January 2025 at the Rectorate Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by the university senior management, faculty deans, vocational school directors, and academic and administrative staff responsible for quality processes.
Meeting Agenda:
Presentation and Evaluation of 2024 Activities: Presentations were made by faculty deans and Vocational School directors.
Discussion of 2025 Activity Plans: The plans of the academic and administrative units of our university were discussed.
Discussion of Department Accreditation Applications: Accreditation processes and applications were evaluated.
First Quality Commission Decisions of 2025:
2024 Annual Reports were evaluated and approved in line with the faculty and Vocational School presentations.
2025 Activity Plans were discussed for approval by the relevant coordinators on the basis of main processes.
Within the scope of Quality Accreditation Programme (KAP) preparations, it was decided to conduct quality internal audit visits in the academic and administrative units of our university and to have a peer university visit our university within the framework of KAP evaluation.
The Department Accreditation Process was discussed in detail and the suitability of the process was evaluated.
In line with the decisions taken at the meeting, quality processes and strategic planning for 2025 will be carried out meticulously and progress will be made in line with the university's institutional development and accreditation targets.
