Yalova University hosted an important academic visit in line with its internationalisation goals. A delegation from Andijan State Technical University, one of Uzbekistan's long-established higher education institutions, visited Yalova University.
During the visit, the Rector of Andijan State Technical University, Umid Mukhtaralievich Turdialiev, and Project Manager Javlonbek Rakhmatillayev were received by the Rector of Yalova University, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, at his office. The meeting discussed opportunities for academic and institutional cooperation between the two universities.
Within the framework of the contacts made, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, envisaging cooperation under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171 Erasmus+) programme. During the discussions, details regarding joint projects and academic exchange activities that could be implemented in the future were also evaluated.
Following the official meetings, the delegation visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering at Yalova University, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Jülide Hızal Yücesoy. The visiting delegation was briefed on the laboratory infrastructure, ongoing academic work and technical capabilities, and had the opportunity to examine the university's applied education facilities first-hand.
