Yalova University Çınarcık Vocational School hosted an important event on 10 April 2025. The ‘MEDEK Accreditation Seminar’ started at 13.00 at Çınarcık Vocational School Meeting Hall and lasted about 3.5 hours
The seminar was presented by MEDEK evaluator Lect. Murat Şahin's presentation. Altınova Vocational School Director Asst. Prof. Gökhan Timaç and Welding Technology Lect. Ezgi Aksu Kılıçgedik also attended and shared their experiences in the event. The event provided comprehensive information about the accreditation process, evaluation criteria and quality standards of vocational school programmes. In the question-answer section after the presentation, the participants had the opportunity to get detailed explanations on the topics.
As well as Çınarcık Vocational School Director Dr İzzet İsmail Dur and Assistant Director Lect. Merve Yazıcı, the lecturers of the Media Communication Programme and Accounting Programme also participated in the seminar. The event once again demonstrated Yalova University's quality-oriented education approach and continuous development goal.
MEDEK plays an important role in the accreditation process by assessing the conformity of vocational school programmes to established quality standards. Such seminars contribute to universities' efforts to improve the quality of education and harmonise with international standards.
