Within the scope of the protocol signed between Yalova University, Meteor Endüstri ve Enerji A.Ş. and Logosoft Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş., SAP Business One (SAPB1) training will be provided for university students and sectoral participants. Thanks to this cooperation, participants will have the opportunity to gain competence in the SAP Business One platform, one of the most widely used enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems worldwide.
The trainings will be carried out with the laboratory, studio and classroom infrastructure provided by Yalova University. Participants will be able to acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical application skills.
Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı stated that this initiative is a strategic step in terms of university-industry cooperation and said, “We attach importance to such collaborations in order to equip our students with technical knowledge in accordance with the requirements of the age and to become competitive in the sector.”
Nejat Saldanlı, Managing Partner of Logosoft Information Technologies Inc. emphasized that with this cooperation, both students and professionals will be trained as qualified experts in the field of SAPB1. Ümit Yaşar, General Manager of Meteor Holding, said, “We hope that this strong model that started in Yalova will set an example for Turkey in general.”
The trainings will be conducted by Yalova University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (YÜSEM). The certificates issued will be accessible through the e-Government system. YÜSEM Director Prof. Dr. İkram Daştan stated that SAPB1 trainings conducted within this scope will continue to provide important gains for both sectors and students.
The SAP Business One training aims to strengthen the information bridge between universities and industry, prepare students for the business world and support regional development.
