Yalova University welcomed new students for the 2025-2026 academic year with its Student Orientation Programme.
Speaking at the opening of the programme, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı congratulated our students on joining the university family and wished them a successful academic year.
The programme, organised to help students who have joined our university adapt quickly and smoothly to university life and get to know the academic, social and cultural environment closely, includes informative presentations and introductory sessions.
The programme, coordinated by the Education and Teaching Coordination Office, features presentations by our Vice-Rector responsible for Education and Teaching, Prof. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, the International Relations Coordination Office, the Career Centre, the Student Affairs Directorate, the Health, Culture and Sports Directorate, the University Student Representative, and representatives from the Yalova Police Department.
This year, students who enrolled by filling all the quotas in the YKS (University Entrance Exam) from:
• Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
• Faculty of Engineering
• Faculty of Arts and Design
• Faculty of Health Sciences
• Faculty of Sports Sciences
gathered at the Mehmet Okul Congress and Culture Centre on the first day of the programme.
Our orientation programme will continue in the coming days at our other faculties and vocational schools.
