April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Yalova witnessed moments full of enthusiasm and pride. Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı also attended the ceremonies and shared the joy of children.
As part of the celebration activities, a traditional April 23rd cortege was organized starting from Istanbul Street and extending to 15 July Democracy and Republic Square via Cumhuriyet Street. The cortege, led by the students of Saffet Çam Secondary School, was met with great interest by Yalovans.
The official ceremony started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, while the colorful performances of the students received great applause from the participants.
