The 104th anniversary of Yalova's liberation from enemy occupation was celebrated with a ceremony held at 15 July Democracy and Republic Square. The event was attended by Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı and provincial protocol.
The ceremony began with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument. The provincial protocol then visited the TCG Tekirdağ ship.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, also attended the opening of the painting and handicrafts exhibition held at the Yalova City Museum as part of the 28th Turkish Tribes Festival and examined the works on display at the exhibition.
