As part of the Institutional Accreditation Programme (KAP) process, preparatory meetings were held with academic and administrative unit managers on 5–6 November 2025 at our university.
The meetings were chaired by Rector Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı and Vice-Rector for Quality Prof. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, with the participation of Vice-Rector Prof. Taner Tatar and Secretary General Hayri Karaca.
The meetings evaluated the current state of preparations for the KAP process, the functioning of quality assurance activities, and the upcoming visit process. Unit managers provided information about ongoing activities, needs, and planned actions.
Our Rector, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, emphasised that the KAP process is an important process covering all academic and administrative structures, and stressed that all units must actively participate in the process.
Our Vice-Rector for Quality, Prof. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, provided important information about the quality assurance system, preparations, and the visit schedule.
The meetings concluded with the answering of questions and planning to strengthen internal coordination.
