The 102nd anniversary of the Republic was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our university. Academic and administrative staff attended the programme held at the Rectorate building.
The celebration programme began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, followed by a speech by our Rector, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı. In his speech, our Rector emphasised the spirit of unity, solidarity and independence of our nation on the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic, stating that it is our shared responsibility to proudly carry this legacy to future generations.
As part of the programme, Rector Bahçekapılı celebrated Republic Day by greeting academic and administrative staff. Our staff shared the excitement of the Republic together and took photos to commemorate the day.
