The Mevlevi Ceremony and Turkish Sufi Music Concert Were Held

The Mevlevi Ayini Şerif and Turkish Sufi Music concert, held in commemoration of the 752nd anniversary of the passing of Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî, was performed with the deep and soothing tones of Sufi music accompanied by whirling dervishes.

The program, performed by the Hasat Vakti Sufi Music group, was attended by our Rector Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, our Vice Rector Prof. Taner Tatar, our Secretary General Hayri Karaca, protocol members, and the public.

Participants had the opportunity to reconnect with the world of thought centered on “love, tolerance, and humanity” of Hz. Mevlânâ through the union of music and sema.

We would like to thank our artists who contributed to this meaningful evening, our partners who supported us, and all participants who showed interest in our program.
