The Most Beautiful Festival, The Most Glorious View
On this meaningful day, as we celebrate the joy of 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, our new flag, hoisted at the highest point of our university, has reached the sky.
Our crimson flag, the symbol of our independence, was raised at a ceremony attended by our Rector, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, and the Governor of Yalova, Dr Ahmet Hamdi Usta; along with our Garrison Commander Mr Mehmet Tahir Göncüoğlu, the Chairman of the Provincial Assembly Mr Hasan Soygüzel, the Provincial Chairman of the AK Party Mr Umut Güçlü, the Provincial Chairman of the MHP Mr Ahmet İhsan Güldoğan, our Vice-Rectors, our General Secretary, our Department Heads and our Branch Directors.
On our campus, where we nurture the shining stars of the future, the shadow of the crescent and star now looms far more majestically.
We extend our gratitude to the entire Yalova Provincial Special Administration, represented by our Provincial Assembly Chairman, Mr Hasan Soygüzel, and to Akgün Florists, represented by Oktay Akgün, for their support in bringing this meaningful work to our university.
