Our university hosted a meaningful panel discussion as part of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day celebrations. The panel, titled ‘The Name of Victory: Turkey,’ was held in the 15 July Conference Hall, which shares its name with the glorious epic.
Prof. Dr. Oktay Özgül moderated the panel, while our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Taner Tatar and Prof. Dr. Cahit Külekçi participated as speakers. The panel discussed the resolute stance taken by our nation in the face of the treacherous coup attempt on 15 July 2016, its determination to defend democracy, and its spirit of unity from an academic perspective.
