As part of our Faculty of Sports Sciences’ accreditation application, the SPORAK Evaluation Team has commenced on-site visits. As part of the site visits, the evaluation team paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, at his office.
The visit was attended by SPORAK President Prof. Serkan İbiş, Prof. Mustafa Yaşar Şahin, Prof. Mustafa Koç, Prof. Zait Burak Aktuğ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Can Koç and student evaluator Uğur Ağaç.
Representing our university at the visit were: Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Vice-Rector Prof. Serdar Geri, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Korkmaz Yiğiter, Dr Abdurrahman Yaraş, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences; Prof. İbrahim Şahin, Head of the Coaching Education Department; Prof. Nurullah Emir Ekinci, Head of the Recreation Department; and Assoc. Prof. Yavuz Öntürk, Head of the Sports Management Department.
During the visit, general assessments were made regarding our faculty’s accreditation process, quality assurance activities, teaching and learning activities, and site inspections. The SPORAK Evaluation Team will continue its inspections of our faculty’s academic, administrative and physical processes in accordance with the visit programme.
