The certificate ceremony for the “Educator Training Program” coordinated by the Yalova University Education and Training Coordination Office between May 22 and 28, 2025, was held at 11:00 a.m. on June 18, 2025, in the Rectorate Conference Hall.
The ceremony was attended by Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet BAHÇEKAPILI, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yürür KARSLIOĞLU, Education and Teaching Coordinator Sinem Ateş, and Assistant Coordinator Dr. Cansev OKUTKAN.
Dr. Cansev OKUTKAN, Dr. Sümeyra ARICAN, and Lecturer Dr. Tuğrul AKTAŞ, Lecturer Dr. Nihal YİĞİTALP, and Lecturer Dr. Burcu KARAFİL, who provided training as part of the program, were presented with certificates of appreciation, and, a total of 77 participants who successfully completed the training were awarded participation certificates by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet BAHÇEKAPILI, in a ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Bahçekapılı emphasized the importance of educators' competence in the sustainability of academic development and stressed that the program made a meaningful contribution to the university's educational quality. Officials from the Education and Training Coordination Office stated that the program is planned to continue with wider participation in the coming periods.
