The Rector of Yalova University of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, and the accompanying university delegation visited the Municipality of Kladanj in Bosnia and Herzegovina and held a meeting with Mayor Edis Šarić.
The meeting held at the Kladanj Municipality building was also attended by Prof. Midhat Čaušević, Representative of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Razija Hodžić, Director of the Social Services Centre, and Aida Hotović, Director of JP ‘Karaula’.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Senay Yürür, Vice-Rector of Yalova University, Prof. Hasan Kaplan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Sibel Akova, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. During the discussions, the tourism and economic potential of Kladanj Municipality was introduced, and topics such as opportunities for cooperation and experience sharing between the local community and Yalova University in the fields of education, tourism and economics were addressed.
The parties expressed their mutual goodwill and cooperation objectives regarding the implementation of joint projects that will contribute to the development of Kladanj Municipality and strengthen inter-institutional relations.
