We successfully concluded our 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Lecture with the participation of the Governor of Yalova, Dr Ahmet Hamdi Usta; our Member of Parliament, Meliha Akyol; the Rector of our University, Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı; members of the provincial protocol; our vice-rectors; our academic staff; our administrative staff; and our students.
Our opening lecture, titled ‘Remaining Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: From Science to Wisdom’ and graced by the presence of the Founding Rector of Üsküdar University and psychiatrist, Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, as the keynote speaker, was held at the Mehmet Okul Congress and Culture Centre to great interest.
