Asst. Prof. Dr. Aykut Fatih Güven, one of the faculty members of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of our Faculty of Engineering, has been elected to the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports, one of the prestigious academic journals published in Nature Portfolio.
Scientific Reports is an open access, high-impact academic journal that publishes original research in a wide range of fields including natural sciences, psychology, medicine and engineering. Thanks to its open access policy, it enables research to reach a wider audience and gives scientific studies global visibility.
In 2023, the journal was one of the five most cited journals in the world with more than 734,000 citations (2023 Journal Citation Reports®, Clarivate Analytics, 2024). It is also an important publication organ frequently referenced by scientific communities, policy documents and the media.
